My life\u2019s journey is the gift I share.
My lessons have been many, and they continue to unfold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Farm and the ongoing creation of what happens here are an expression of my deepest calling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the way I love God with all my heart and love others in the same way I am learning to love myself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I have learned that it is up to me how deep or shallow I choose to live.
I have chosen a life of honesty and truth, living from the deepest place of my being. <\/p>\n\n\n

My love for God sustains me.
My love for animals and the woods keeps me connected to life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is something in me that loves bringing new life to forgotten things.
That has always been part of my soul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up in rural South Georgia, where life was simple and carefree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many ways, my life has come full circle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was raised by a strong, creative mother. 
I am married to the love of my life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love to laugh deeply and often.
And I have become comfortable with tears, both my own and others’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I carry a sense of spirit and a tenderness for the human heart, caring for others with the same compassion I am learning to give myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life continues to teach me about love, compassion and forgiveness.
And I share all that I am, all that I have and all that I am learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the place I meet others from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is well with my soul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve learned that our past doesn\u2019t have to define our future. Through healing, faith and grace, I\u2019ve experienced a life I never imagined was possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up in a home that often felt chaotic. Deep down, I knew there was something more to life, a deeper meaning and purpose for why I was here, but I couldn\u2019t find it. Eventually I turned to alcohol to numb the emptiness and escape reality. My parents were both alcoholics, but my mom held things together as best she could. She made sure my three younger sisters and I got to our sporting events and got us to church most Sundays, where she sang in the choir. She loved us the best way she knew how, and looking back, I can see God was planting seeds of hope long before I recognized them.<\/p>\n\n\n

One of the greatest turning points in my life came while sitting in a jail cell. In that darkest moment, I finally surrendered. It was there that I encountered a loving God who met me with grace instead of condemnation. Looking back, I can see there were angels on my path all along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After getting sober, I committed myself fully to recovery, and I attended an A.A. meeting every day during my first year. I found a strong church community that helped me grow, and little by little I began learning a completely different way to live. Recovery taught me that asking for help isn\u2019t weakness; it\u2019s where healing begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was also blessed to spend the next 25 years with The Home Depot. I started loading lumber and earned minimum wage. I was grateful for the chance to work and rebuild my life one day at a time. Over the years, I was trusted with leadership roles, but more importantly, I learned the value of showing up, serving others and treating people with dignity and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nine years into my healing journey, I met Vikki. Within a year, we were married, sharing a dream of one day living in the country and creating a place where people could slow down, breathe and reconnect with themselves, with others and with God. From the beginning, I knew there was something special about her. Looking back, I believe God was weaving our lives together to create what is now Revival 356.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Revival 356 is the living expression of that shared dream. My journey has given me a deep compassion for others. I\u2019ve experienced the power of grace and the kindness of people who believed in me before I believed in myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a true privilege to walk alongside others as they discover that same hope. No matter where you\u2019ve been, healing is possible, hope is real, and you are deeply loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
